A Place to Grow in Faith and Wonder
In search of a better way, we rediscovered something timeless.
Anothen means “from above”—a reflection of the faith at the heart of our school. We are a Christian, veteran-owned school in Mansfield, Texas, welcoming children from 18 months through sixth grade to our 22-acre campus.
We believe children need room to wonder, opportunities to explore, and teachers who see their potential. Here, learning reaches beyond the classroom through meaningful lessons, hands-on experiences, and time spent discovering God’s creation. An ordinary moment—watching an insect, noticing a changing leaf, or asking an unexpected question—can become the beginning of something worth learning.
We’ve chosen this approach with purpose. Our goal is to nurture curiosity, encourage confidence, and help children build a strong foundation in both learning and faith. More than a place to attend school, we want Anothen to be a place where each child is known, supported, and given room to grow.

At Anothen, learning is something children experience—not just something they hear about. Planting a seed, measuring ingredients, creating art, and exploring a forest trail offer opportunities to ask questions and put new ideas into practice.
Rooted in our Christian faith, our approach brings classroom lessons and hands-on discovery together. We encourage children to observe closely, think thoughtfully, and grow in curiosity, confidence, and care for God’s creation.
