The Elementary Program is a natural expansion of the nature-based, Christ-centered programming that families love and expect from Anothen.

Elementary Program will utilize the Alveary curriculum to provide students with a high-quality education that stays true to Mason's philosophy while equipping students with the skills and worldview foundation vital to living well in today's world.

The Alveary is a complete, comprehensive curriculum and teacher training program designed by the Charlotte Mason Institute. The program is continually updated and improved based on feedback from educators, student exam samples, and current research.

We encourage you to learn more about their curriculum and the benefits that your child will get to experience!

mrs. Evelyn Dozier.

A woman standing outdoors in a forested area wearing a green "Another Outdoor Academy" shirt, smiling and looking at the camera.

Evelyn has a love for teaching and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Texas. She began her career in public education, serving first as a substitute teacher before teaching full-time as a Kindergarten Teacher, then as a Middle School Math Teacher, and finally as a 6th-12th grade Physical Education Teacher.

She holds a certification for general content from Early Childhood through 6th grade, as well as an additional certification for 4th-8th grade Math, and Physical Education & Health for Early Childhood through 12th grade.

Evelyn taught Tinkergarten outdoor learning classes in the community, and it was during her training for Tinkergarten that Evelyn first came across the ideas of Charlotte Mason and became inspired to incorporate the approach with her own children. She adopted the program and had the opportunity to put it into practice in the homeschool co-op she led from her home.

For the last three years, she has helped pilot this rich and robust educational approach we use within our Elementary School Program.

"Education is

an atmosphere, a discipline, a life."

-Charlotte Mason
