foxes

Our foxes class is designed for 2 and 3 year olds. At this age, children are still developing motor skills and learning how to interact with the world, so we design our days to sharpen those skills. How do we do that? A lot of play!

Of course we have Reading, Chapel, Gardening, Spanish and so many other fun things that we do, too. But we are intentional with this age group to allow our students to grow to love learning. We give them the space and the place to be themselves and to discover how fascinating the world can be!

Mrs. Emma - Lead Teacher

Mrs. Emma is currently studying Early Childhood Development. In addition to working with young children at Anothen, she spends time volunteering as a Sunday School Teacher at her church.

She loves Dr. Pepper, giraffes and hanging out with her family and husband. Her favorite part of working at Anothen is the family-like atmosphere and community.

Mrs. Ebony - MWF assistant

This is Mrs. Ebony's second year teaching at Anothen. She loves the compassion and family feel of our School.

She is newly married and loves spending time with her husband at church and at home watching movies.

She enjoys singing (all day, every day!) and sparking the joy singing can bring in her students. She can't wait to connect with and love on her little foxes this year.

Mrs. amanda - T/th assistant

Mrs. Amanda has experience in nonprofit management and holds a degree in Journalism/Public Relations and Marketing (she is also Anothen’s Marketing Director!)

She is also a wife, mother of two young children and a Girl Scout Troop Leader. She is passionate about ensuring that children in her care know they are loved and have a safe place to explore the world.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
